Margaret Giffen Resident in Clinical Research
Applications are invited for this unique clinical research position, based at our busy and dynamic equine hospital. The position is for a 3-year term.
This training position was originally created in 2011 thanks to the legacy of the Margaret Giffen Charitable Trust, and we have been successful in retaining funding for this important position since this time. One of the frustrations for busy clinicians in private practice, working long and often anti-social hours to satisfy the needs of their clients and patients, is that it is difficult to devote time to research without the interruption of clinical work. This position allows a clinical research resident to work alongside some of these clinicians to devise, undertake and present invaluable equine clinical research nationally and internationally.
Formal training leading to an MSc in Veterinary Epidemiology and Public Health is included.
The Job Description for this position is available here.
If you wish to apply for this position, please send a CV and covering letter for the attention of Rachel Clay, Rossdales Equine Hospital, Cotton End Road, Exning, Newmarket, Suffolk CB8 7NN, or by email to email@example.com.
Closing date for applications: Friday, 7th April 2017
